2005' Shanghai International Youth Science and Technology Expo co-hosted by Shanghai Science and Technology Commission and Shanghai Education Commission, will be held in Shanghai Science and Technology Museum on 12-15 of July, 2005. The theme of this fair is "Science and Technology & Our Lives". Teenage students from all parts of the world will assemble in Shanghai, participating in an innovative, and interactive scientific and technological grand meeting.

Opening Ceremony
With both scientific and technological means and artistic form, the Opening ceremony will show that science can create bright life, displaying the achievements from invention, creation, and making.

Exhibition Hall of the Innovation
Scientific and technological operating rooms of schools with the characteristics of science and technology in Shanghai and some achievements of teenagers' popular scientific education will be exhibited in this hall. Some achievements, patents, demonstrations, and works about teenagers' inventions, creations, conception, and advice will also be displayed in this hall. Practice works made by teenagers in Shanghai with science and technology and works made by overseas scientific and technological delegations of teenagers will be exhibited in this hall as well.

Self-exploring Hall
All kinds of robot performances are demonstrated. Teaching aids of Scientific Exploration will be provided with visitors’ participating.

Students' Forum on Scientific & Technological Innovation
Under the theme of science in Life, the delegation of oversea teengers will hold forums and exchanges with Shanghai teenagers about experiences and achievements in the field of science exploration and practice.

Teachers' Forum on Education of Science & Technology
Under the theme of an interesting class on scientific education, oversea teachers and Shanghai teachers will carry out exchanges of scientific education.

Activities on investigation, Information Exchange, Visit, Friendship anti Volunteer
The host will offer delegates volunteers for sightseeing in Shanghai and some scientific and technological venues, for publicizing the education of popular science in some schools and communities, and for having parties with sibling schools.

Closing Ceremony
Awards ceremony will be held in closing ceremony after which a farewell luncheon and a sightseeing of parks will be hosted promptly.
